Hello yogis and yoginis:
We are coming to the tail end of summer. The kids are back to school. The weather starts to get cooler. It’s the perfect time to switch your focus toward the most important person in your life, YOU. What better way to get back to your yoga practice and celebrate September as our National Yoga Month!
For the past three decades, yoga has become a major force in total fitness. There’s a reason the ancient practice has stood the test of time. Yoga is a total mind-body experience, with both physical and mental benefits. Yoga has been featured in a number of clinical trials that have looked at its impact on risk of breast cancer, obesity, hypertension, heart disease, chronic back pain, asthma, carpal tunnel syndrome, and arthritis, and its impact on minimizing uncomfortable symptoms associated with menopause. Many of the studies also looked at the many benefits that yoga offers.
In 2008, the Department of Health and Human Services designated September as National Yoga Awareness Month, one of a select number of yearly health calendar observances. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve never stepped foot onto a yoga mat, you’ve been to a handful of classes, you’re a hardcore yoga veteran, or a yoga teacher or studio owner, there are many cool ways to share in the collective consciousness of National Yoga Month. Taking part in National Yoga Month allows you to be involved in a Global Initiative that will do something good for your body, and in turn, your community and the world. Just think, if everyone in the world put forth the self-love and energy to get on their cushions and meditate daily, there would probably be a lot more good, patience, peace and understanding in the world.

SEPTEMBER CLASS SCHEDULE
A few changes are made to September schedule. Based on your feedback, we move a few classes around to better fit the majority of our students. Here are changes high lines:
1. Additional Flow classes at 4:30PM on Monday and Wednesday
2. Pilates Classes are now at 5:45PM to 6:45PM
3. Move our early bird Thursday back to Wednesday
4. Intermediate Bikram is now on Saturday at 11:45am
5. Saturday morning class is now at 9AM
6. More BIKRAM for late evening classes
We constantly thriving to improve the schedule to meet the needs of majority of our students. We appreciate any feedback pertaining to timing and class schedule.
POETRY OF MOVEMENTS – VINYASA FLOW
With the flowing movements and great music usually playing in class,Vinyasa Flow feels like a dance! Just about everyone looks super graceful practicing Vinyasa yoga, and there’s no better feeling than seeing yourself flow into the perfect warrior pose in the mirror. Perfect for beginners. It is also a great way to learn the basics of pranayama, or yogic breathing, since the instructor will tell you when to inhale and exhale during each pose.
INTRO TO BIKRAM YOGA
An introduction to classic 26 postures – 2 breathing exercises. Room temperature at 100F and 45% humidity.
This class is good for absolute beginner students who has no experience with this series or for experience students who would like to take a break from the heat and go for a more gentle approach to BIKRAM
Class ends with essential oil massage for forehead, neck and shoulder!
RED HOT CHILI BIKRAM is back…
For those of us who likes – extra hot – Check out this Red Hot Chili 60 min Bikram. Not recommend for new students’ first class.
SLOW FLOW & RESTORATIVE FEEL GOOD FRIDAY
Slow flow from Sun A, Sun B and move to more restorative postures. Great for beginners or students who just want to un-wind at the end of the week.
