AERIAL RESTORATIVE YOGA
60 Minutes
Beginner – Advanced
Aerial Restore combines the support and comfort of an aerial hammock with restorative yoga poses. The result? A melting away of physical and mental tension and a deeply rested body and mind. In this class you will float through a series of luxurious supported poses with the aerial hammock positioned about a foot off the floor. Drift quietly for several minutes as the gentle positions facilitate deep release in the physical and energetic body. Classes will end with a long period of cocooned savasana where you’ll be gently suspended in air, surrounded by soothing music, and maybe even tucked in with a blanket. Our calm and nurturing Aerial Restore classes focus on relaxation and slowing down and are appropriate for all levels.
In Restorative Aerial yoga, the hammock is 10-12 inches off the ground unlike traditional Aerial Yoga where the hammock is at hip height. This low hammock set-up allows us to use the floor for extra support, giving us more opportunity to release. Many students recovering from an injury or students just getting into Aerial Yoga may find this notion of contact with the floor more appealing.

AERIAL PLAY
60 Minutes
Intermediate – Advanced
Recommend taking a minimum of 5 to 6 beginner classes before trying Aerial Play.

Discover an expressive and playful way to work out on “silk” hammocks. Elevate your heart rate in a playful way and deepen your body connection through dynamic movement, hammock tricks, and conditioning. Develop arm and core strength, coordination, and grace.
While you may recognize a few aerial yoga ‘shapes’ in class, the approach and experience of this class is very different. Aerial Yoga creates a meditative experience by using gravity and breath to release in to postures. In contrast, Aerial Play & Fitness is rooted in joint-freeing and circus conditioning. The class format is far more active and dynamic. Learn to maneuver though the fabric smoothly, manage energy, and awaken deep core muscles!
Recommend taking a minimum of 5 to 6 beginner classes before trying Aerial Play. Must familiar with all basic Aerial Inversion.
Aerial Yoga Play is offered on the last week of each month when Beginner Aerial Yoga is offered.
